Short days in Yellowstone

We've ridden just a little more than 40 miles on consecutive days in Yellowstone. It gives us time to "goof off" at different places here, including at Old Faithful where we spent about 2 hours today. According to dad, the geyser may have lost some steam in the last 25 years, although we may not have seen it at its most intense since we were in the cafeteria near some electrical outlets when it started going off.

(Finding electrical outlets is something of a low level obsession for us since it allows me to charge my iPhone and dad his iPad and regular phone. I also get some juice from a small solar charger that I have on my bike during the day.)

Anyway, we climbed some hills today, but nothing too major. We're staying at Grant Village tonight, which is near the south entrance of the park, which we'll be leaving tomorrow. After that, we'll go past the Grand Tetons and camp near Moran Junction at the base of Togwotee Pass, which is a major climb as you can see from the elevation profile. (Each grid line represents 1000 feet in elevation.)
